The race will begin at 8:00 a.m., November 22, 2014.
The start will be staggered to avoid congestion on the W&OD Railroad Park trail. (fastest runners first) *Walkers will begin after all the runners have started.
No need to stand out in the cold! You can wait indoors prior to the start of the race.
Early Bird Registration: by November 9, 2014 (t-shirt guaranteed)

Race Packet Pick‐Up
Pre‐registered participants may pick up race packets on Friday, November 21, at Road Runner Sports from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Road Runner Sports is located at 1120 W. Broad Street, Falls Church, VA 22046. Click here to visit their website.
Packets may also be picked up on the morning of the race at Columbia Baptist Church from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. (Packet pick up on Friday is strongly encouraged!)
Race Day Registration is also available on race day from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m (shirt not guaranteed).Food Donation
Participants are encouraged to bring canned and dry goods (non‐perishable) to donate to the Spend Yourself® Food Pantry. When you donate food on race day, you will be entered for a free pair of running shoes from our running store partner Road Runner Sports. These are shoes of your choice up to a $120 value.
Enjoy a scenic run on the beautiful W&OD Railroad Regional Park trail in Falls Church City. The up‐and‐back 5K course is certified by the USA Track and Field. From a start on Maple Avenue at the campus of Columbia Baptist Church, the course heads to the Little Falls entrance of the W&OD Railroad Park trail (at approximately mile marker 6) and heads toward the turn‐around at the bridge over Route 7 (mile marker 7). The finish is back at Columbia Baptist Church on Maple Street.
*3K Walk follows the same course but turns around after 1.5K.
*This is a stroller friendly course.
All entrants will receive a specially designed commemorative Long Sleeved Cotton T‐shirt. Early Registrants are guaranteed a T-shirt in requested size.

When you register you will be given the opportunity to do personal fundraising for the race. Include your friends and family by having them support you as you run or walk, and increase the benefit of the race to the Spend Yourself® Ministries. The top fundraiser will be recognized on race day!
The top three overall male and female runners will be awarded prizes. The top two male and female runners in each age category will also receive medals.

Inspired by Isaiah 58:10, which challenges us to “spend yourself in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed,” the vision of Spend Yourself® is to commit to a long‐term, concerted effort to address both spiritual and physical hunger around the world. From Washington, DC, and Arlington area
I‐66 West to Sycamore Street. Exit right on Sycamore. Proceed to 2nd traffic light and turn left on Rt. 29 South (Lee Hwy/Washington Street). Proceed on Rt. 29 South approximately 6 blocks to church on right at the corner of West Columbia Street and Rt. 29.
From I‐495 (The "Beltway")
Take exit 49B onto I‐66 East (toward Washington). Exit I‐66 at Rt. 29 South (Lee Hwy/Washington Street); immediately move to right lane. Turn right onto Rt. 29 South (Lee Hwy/Washington Street) at traffic signal. Proceed approximately 3 blocks to church on right at the corner of West Columbia Street and Rt. 29.
Parking is available in a portion of the Columbia Baptist Church parking lot but only accessible from Washington Street/Rt. 29. Parking is also available in nearby lots and on side streets that are not closed for the race. Please respect our neighbors and only park in legal parking spots.
