Here at Columbia we seek to integrate senior adults into the life and work of the congregation.  Seniors are encouraged to serve alongside other members across age divisions in Missions & Evangelism, Music, Worship & Arts, Faith Formation, Administration, Lay Ministries as well as Congregational Care ministry areas.

There are several senior adult Bible study classes, but many choose to attend inter-generational groups.  Email Nancy Walker or call 703 534-5740 x266 for more information.

A senior adult choir, the Joy Singers, ministers to persons in nursing homes and senior adult living facilities, sharing the love of Jesus through music.

Throughout the year Columbia hosts a multitude of events that are of particular interest to our Senior Adult community.  While many of our events are inter-generational, Senior Adults look forward to the AARP 55 Alive Driving Course being held at different times throughout the year, as well as our newest event:  A Tribute To The Greatest Generation held in February.
