Welcome to MOPS!
MOPS is an international organization designed to come alongside Mothers of Preschoolers to encourage, equip, and develop them to be the best moms possible! Our MOPS meetings include an opportunity to fellowship with moms who can share the joys and challenges of motherhood. Meeting around tables, we enjoy a respite from the busyness of our day to day demands through inspiring speakers, conversation, coffee, and brunch or dessert! We are dedicated to providing community to each other through these years of parenting preschoolers, fulfilling the MOPS mission of “No Mom Alone”.
We offer two options for MOPS, including a morning session and an evening session.
MOPS is open to moms of any religious affiliation or none at all. Our meetings cover topics relevant to parenting. We also look to provide inspiration and encouragement with topics such as family traditions, holiday ideas, and self/family enrichment.
In addition to our Friday morning meetings, we host a variety of social events (some with and some without kids) – for example, Mom’s Breakfast, Christmas shopping mornings, apple picking, park dates, etc.
While we are meeting, our children are lovingly cared for and engaged in their own program called MOPPETS. In MOPPETS they are assigned to an age appropriate class where they will enjoy play, art, song and, most importantly, hear stories about Jesus Christ and experience His love for them through experienced and caring teachers.
This year we are doing one registration for the year instead of breaking it into semesters. The new 2015/2016 sessions begin September 11th! Be sure to sign up in the links below!
**Due to an overwhelming response, MOPPETs registration is officially closed. We still have a few spots available in certain age groups. Please email Julie Britton or English Barbour if you need MOPPETs to see if there is still room available in your child's age group.
Please note: MOPS registration is still open and spots are still available for moms who do not need MOPPETs childcare.**
We would love for you to join our community as we share this adventure of mothering our preschoolers together! Please click here to register for MOPS.

Our evening MOPS group is designed to accommodate the schedules of working moms and those with other daytime commitments. Like Daytime MOPS, we have Mentor Moms at each table who are a few steps ahead in the motherhood journey. All of our Evening MOPS Mentor Moms have worked outside of the home and their collective experiences include parenting children with special needs, parenting multiples, parenting foster children, and adoption. In addition to our Tuesday evening meetings, we plan to host one to two social events each year.
Childcare is provided to single moms and military wives with a husband who is deployed or on temporary duty assignment. Other circumstances will be considered on a case by case basis. All children must be registered two weeks prior to attending. Please email Layton McCann to register for childcare after registering for evening MOPS.
