The registration fees cover the cost to host this event, but we are racing to feed the hungry in Northern Virginia, Haiti, and Zambia. 100% of donations are used in the fight against hunger.

  • What is Spend Yourself?

    Spend Yourself is Columbia's World Hunger Ministry.  We have long term development projects in Haiti and Zambia.  We also are fighting against hunger in Northern Virginia with a Food Pantry in Falls Church.  Learn More

  • When and where can I pick up my Race Packet?

    Race packets with cool freebies and discounts and bibs can be picked up on Saturday, November 23 from 3-5pm at Road Runner Sports (1120 W. Broad St, Falls Church).

    Road Runner will donate $1.50 to Spend Yourself® for every bag picked up in the store!

  • Is there a registration deadline to guarantee I get a long-sleeved race shirt?

    The deadline to receive a race t-shirt in your size is November 1.

  • Where do I park?

    Plan to park in the BWA Lot (405  N. Washington Street.)

  • Can I volunteer?

    Please do!  Email us!

  • When do we eat?

    FREE pancakes, biscuits and PLENTY of coffee will be available from 8:15 to 9:15am.  

  • May I join the party if I'm not running, walking or volunteering?

    We were hoping you would ask!  Please plan to arrive early, so you can have breakfast in Columbia's parking lot, visit with other Columbians, and attend worship at 9:30am.


  • What if I don't normally attend the 9:30am service on Sundays?

    Race Day worship will start at 9:30am, but it will be a unique worship service for that day.  The service will have something for everyone, including a brief message from our pastor, some great music, and childcare for ages 3 and under.

    Worship will be less than one hour and will have great, family-friendly music. Childcare for ages 3 and under is available.
