COLUMBIA'S NEW FRONT DOOR

Columbia has a long history of growth in the City of Falls Church. Since our founding in 1856, every generation has helped shape and steward Columbia for the next generation. We find ourselves at just such a point now, a moment of time in which we will either embrace the future or be contented to live in the past. The stage has been set for tremendous growth, and the last remaining obstacle is the inadequacy of our present facilities.

After many years of planning, fund-raising, and working our way through the development process in the city of Falls Church, we are moving forward with the expansion of our Falls Church campus. Development highlights include:

• A new 1100 seat Sanctuary
• A new, open foyer, including a centralized Welcome Desk and Cafe
• An improved CDC main entrance and lobby
• Relocation of the large play-space to a location directly adjacent to the building
• A new steeple, signaling the new, more accessible front door to Columbia
